Ambica Crushtech is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its engineering team and contribute to the design and development of industrial equipment and material-processing systems. The role will involve working on equipment such as crushers, screens, feeders, material handling systems and related plant machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 2D and 3D designs for industrial machinery and equipment.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, assemblies and BOMs.
- Work on equipment such as crushers, vibrating screens, feeders and conveyors.
- Perform basic engineering calculations and select appropriate components.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, fabrication and project teams.
- Review designs for functionality, manufacturability and reliability.
- Support customization of equipment according to customer and process requirements.
- Assist with design improvements, modifications and technical documentation.
Required Skills
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical equipment design or industrial machinery.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and preferably SolidWorks/Creo.
- Understanding of fabrication, machining, bearings, shafts, gearboxes and mechanical components.
- Ability to read and prepare engineering drawings.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
